During the last school holidays there were some different kinds of pots being made at the Canberra Potter’s Society!
Across two weeks, six young, very enthusiastic puppeteers created their own puppets and performances completely from scratch.
Diligently they sculpted the heads and hand from clay, hand-sewed their bodies and costumes, wrote and rehearsed their plays to finally perform and present all their hard work to their families on the last day.
Everyone had a fantastic time and the workshop was buzzing with giggling, creativity and excitement!
Many thanks to Fran Romano and the Canberra Potter’s Society for hosting this amazing holiday workshop and helping me with the firing of the puppets.
